Back in the Saddle

Well, after several weeks of problems connecting with the blog.com site, things are finally working again. I do not really traffic much in tech-language, but I came to care very much about and be extremely frustrated by rich text editors and active scripting in the last few weeks.
Andrea and I are preparing for our second Spring Break trip to Morocco. We are taking a group of students from Northwest University and leaving in about a week. We’ve been meeting regularly with the students, getting to know them, taken a class on Islam together and we’ll be eating together at a local Moroccan restaurant this weekend. Looking ahead, I’m excited and anxious about the trip. Each time I have traveled abroad, my world has been impacted in ways that I could not have anticipated. This is the first time I will have returned to a place that I have traveled. We are taking basicially the same route through the country that we took last year. I am wondering what new experiences that we will encounter this year. I wonder how much I have changed since coming last year.
I hope to make a couple of blog entries from internet cafes in morocco. That will most likely happen in either Casablanca or in Rabat which are the more modern cities we will be in. We will also be spending time in Meknes and the quasi-ancient city of Fes.
It’s great to be back. I feel like I have a voice that has been missing.
